  • 1) Respond to each representation, complaint and trade dispute within 3 days from the date of receipt thereof
  • 2) To act immediately on all identified industrial actions
  • 3) Process and resolve claim for recognition in accordance with the provisions of the laws and regulations upon receipt of all complete documents
  • 4) Commence investigations on any complaint on breaches of the provisions under the Industrial Relations Act 1967 for purpose of enforcement within 14 days of receipt thereof
  • 5) Attend expeditiously to each representation / complaint received from employee / employer / trade union
  • 6) Provide fair and just conciliation services
  • 7) Implement the function to promote harmonious industrial relations atmosphere, enhance productive, friendly and quality tripartite relations and cooperation; and
  • 8) Enhance awareness of clients on their rights and obligations under the Industrial Relations Act 1967 and its regulations.
